CMC Corporation (stock code: CMG) just held an extraordinary general meeting on 18 November 2019. The meeting approved the resignation of two members of Board of Directors and elected two new ones, Mr. Jeong Sam Yong and Mr. Suh Jae Il.

The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of CMC Corporation took place at CMC Building - 11 Duy Tan, Hanoi. The agenda of the meeting included approving the resignation of Mr. Ta Hoang Linh and Mr. Nguyen Kim Cuong from the Board of Directors, and electing additional Board members for the 2016-2021 term. The nominees were Mr. Jeong Sam Yong – Chairman/CEO of Samsung SDS Vietnam and Mr. Suh Jae Il – Chairman/CEO of Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.

At the meeting, shareholders approved the resignation and voted to add two new members to Board of Directors with the same percentage of 95.51%. Based on the voting results, Mr. Jeong Sam Yong and Mr. Suh Jae Il will become members of Board of Directors of CMC Corporation for the remaining period of the 2016-2021 term.

Mr. Ta Hoang Linh and Mr. Nguyen Kim Cuong resign from their positions as BOD members.
