CMC Corporation ranked in Top 50 companies with most effective business performance in Vietnam in 2018
"Top 50 companies with most effective business performance in Vietnam in 2018" is a well-founded and prestigious ranking judged annually by The Business Review magazine, in consultation with leading business experts and economists from Harvard Business School and reference from prestigious world rankings such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Fortune, Forbes, etc. in order to search for and honor companies with effective business performance in Vietnam stock market.
On the morning of 27 June 2019, the ceremony to honor "Top 50 companies with most effective business performance in Vietnam in 2018" and "Investment Conference 2019: "Global Trade War and Action of Vietnamese Enterprises" were held at GEM Center, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of leaders of 50 leading companies in Vietnam, 300 guests from prestigious domestic and international financial institution, influential macroeconomic executives as well as leaders of other leading enterprises in Vietnam.

At the event, CMC Corporation was honored to be in the "Top 50 companies with most effective business performance in Vietnam in 2018". Mr. Dang The Tai (General Director of CMC TSSG) represented the Corporation to receive the medal from the organizing committee of the event.
In 2018, the total consolidated revenue of CMC Corporation reached 5,185 billion VND (excluding revenue from affiliates, associates and internal revenue), grew by 6% compared to 2017 and completed 92% of plan. Consolidated profit before tax reaches 261.8 billion VND, increased by 20% compared to the previous year and completed 102% of plan. At the 2019 General Meeting of Shareholders of CMC Corporation, which was held on the morning of 26 June 2019, the Board of Directors of the Corporation has approved the profit distribution plan for 2018 and paid dividends in 2018 at the rate of 15% in cash; at the same time, issued bonus shares for existing shareholders at the rate of 4.088%. Thus, the total dividends and bonus shares received by shareholders are over 19%.
