Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh proposed to the Prime Minister to restore socio-economic activities under new normal conditions to develop the economy as fast as possible and to support businesses and entrepreneurs to overcome difficulties.
Also at this meeting, representatives of CMC Corporation proposed to the Government to assign projects of developing digital technology infrastructure to domestic IT corporations or companies. If approved and authorized by the Government, CMC is willing to invest 1 billion USD in Digital HUB infrastructure, said Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, thanks to the unified, drastic and timely direction of the Government and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention, as well as the strategy of 5K+vaccine+technology and the consensus of people across the country, the pandemic has essentially been controlled, and the mentality of citizens and businesses is now stable. People and businesses are very confident in the Government's disease prevention strategy.
The IT industry has made important contributions to the disease prevention while still achieved considerable growth in the first 9 months of 2021. In particular, CMC Corporation has a growth rate of 20% more than in 2020 thanks to the results of digital transformation.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh believes that "Technology and Digital Transformation" are the effective and necessary vaccine for Vietnam in general and businesses in particular to respond to COVID-19. In other words, technology and digital transformation are the trends of businesses in post-COVID-19 era. Digital technology enterprises will be at the core of the national digital transformation strategy.
Vietnam has a national strategy for digital transformation and has identified digital transformation as one of the strategic breakthroughs in the next 10 years, which will help the country to have a great leap forward and become powerful in terms of information technology.

Right in the year of COVID-19 outbreak, CMC and SAMSUNG SDS set up their GDC service center with thousands of senior personnel.
CMC Corporation believes that Vietnam has all the necessary and sufficient conditions to become a Digital HUB (a data center that can consolidate data storages) of APAC. CMC is ready to build and deploy the Digital Infrastructure with the support of the Government.

The Prime Minister met with entrepreneurs on Vietnamese Business Day (13 October) to recognize and praise their contributions, as well as to listen to their wishes and aspirations, and he affirmed that the government will continue to share with and accompany Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
