The decision granting ceremony took place within the framework of the Conference on "Connection to strengthen cooperation between state management agencies, research units and enterprises to promote science, technology and innovation activities" at Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, CEO of CMC Corporation said: "After finishing the construction of CMC Creative Space Tan Thuan with the heart being Tan Thuan DC - the most secured and modern data center in Vietnam, CMC continued to fulfill its commitments to the Government and constantly strived, so that today we can invest in the construction of the second CMC Creative Space with a larger scale and a strong focus on researching and developing spearhead products and services of CMC, thus contribute to realizing the common goal of making Vietnam a Digital HUB of the Asia-Pacific region in 2030".

CMC Creative Space Hoa Lac (CCS Hoa Lac) has a construction  area of 3.88 ha with a total investment of more than 2 trillion VND. With an estimated total usable area of 62,000 m2 and a working space designed to accommodate 2,365 employees, when being put into operation (possibly in the first quarter of 2026), CCS Hoa Lac is expected to provide the market with products and services regarding: Core technologies that are transferable in high-tech fields such as AI, ML, Big Data, IoT, Cyber Security; platforms for digital government, digital economy, digital society; high-tech digital infrastructure, cloud technology service, information security, software, etc.

"CCS Hoa Lac will serve as an R&D environment for IT and high-tech digital technology infrastructure, incubating useful inventions and solutions, improving and updating science and technology achievements, and creating new Make-in-Vietnam technologies that meet international standards and are competitive in the world market." – said Mr. Ho Thanh Tung.

CMC Corporation receives the decision on approving investment policy for CMC Creative Space Hoa Lac

"The projects to which the decision is granted today are all high-tech ones in areas that Vietnam is in great need of and has great potential for development. The success of these projects will help spread the desire to master technology and proactively innovate in agencies, organizations, businesses and the Government."  – Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Science & Technology said at the ceremony.

"The goals of the project are completely in line with one of the city's development directions, which is becoming a center of high technology and information technology of the country and the region. This project plays a very important role in realizing the opportunities and potentials that digital transformation has to offer when digital technology is applied to all areas of social life and brought to each citizen." – Mr. Luu Hoang Long, Head of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board emphasized.

Along with CMC Creative Space Tan Thuan which was put into use earlier, CMC is planning to invest in building CMC Creative Space Da Nang with functional subdivisions such as research and development zone; software and information technology production zone; internet exchange stations; related data and service centers, etc., which are fully equipped with high-standard facilities. It is expected that the total investment for the above project will be VND 12,000 billion, and it will be divided into 2 phases. At the project’s completion, 2,000 jobs will be created in phase 1, and another 10,000 in phase 2.
