CTO Luong Tuan Thanh serves as a judge for the final round of SOICT-IBM Hackathon 2020

On the afternoon of 28 June 2020, the final round of SOICT-IBM Hackathon took place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi with the theme of "Call for Code 2020”. SOICT-IBM Hackathon 2020 is an event organized by IBM and School Of Information & Communication Technology for students who are passionate about information technology, especially 4.0 technologies (AI, BigData, Machine Learning, IoT, AR/VR, etc.)

20 teams competing in the final round are asked to develop products that would benefit different fields of life, such as: health, education, transportation, agriculture, etc., with two groups of topic: Climate change issues and Covid-19 pandemic.

Team "Not a Bug" won the First Prize of this year's competition with the project of "CTT Chatbot - A Chatbot to help students update information". This chatbot is based on Messenger platform, and aims to assist students in updating information from the University, along with information related to Covid-19.

The top 5 projects will continue to receive technical advice from experts of IBM Vietnam, so that they can participate in the global Call for Code 2020 competition of IBM.
