On the morning of 11 December, the 5th Vietnam National Forum on Development of Digital Technology Enterprises (VFTE) was held in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. The program was hosted by Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung and the leadership of the Party, the Government, central and local ministries, departments and agencies; as well as representatives of domestic and international associations and enterprises. Representing CMC Corporation (CMC) at the event were Mr. Ho Thanh Tung - CEO of the corporation; Mr. Dang Minh Tuan - Director of CMC Applied Technology Institute; Mr. Dang Tung Son - Deputy CEO/CMO of CMC Telecom; and other leaders of the corporation.

Within the framework of the event, three notable products of Made by CMC technology ecosystem were honored, specifically: CMC Cloud - new generation cloud computing solution wins the Silver Award for Digital Economy Product; CMC Notary - notarization document management solution is ranked in the Top 10 excellent digital products for Digital Society; and CMC Robotics Processing Automation is ranked in the Top 10 excellent digital technology products for overseas markets.

Opening the event, Minister of MIC praised and appreciated the role of digital enterprises and digital products honored at Make in Vietnam 2023 Awards for Digital Technology Products. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung also said that VFTE 2023 is an opportunity for businesses to focus on discussing and proposing solutions to develop a sustainable Vietnamese digital technology community, lead the domestic market and enhance Vietnamese values in the global value chain.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha confirmed that the products and services honored by Make in Vietnam awards are excellently designed, created and manufactured in Vietnam, thereby contributing to the development of digital government, digital economy and digital society. Accordingly, digital technology enterprises, such as CMC, VNPT, Viettel, etc. have great potential and contributions to the development of digital government and digital economy in the construction of national digital platforms. "Technology is changing at a very fast pace; therefore, Vietnam's position and prestige on the world map of science and technology greatly depends on how active and creative our technology firms and our products are...", Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized.

CMC Cloud is a cloud computing platform developed by CMC Telecom since 2017. To date, this is the only Make in Vietnam platform to be upgraded to the 2nd generation. CMC Cloud is developed and extended by CMC engineers on the basis of OpenStack. The 2nd generation of CMC Cloud is a Cloud Native service that meets requirements for scalability and speed of large systems. With the advantages of a leading ISP, CMC Cloud is built on Data Center infrastructure in Multi Region and Availability Zone as well as a strong connection network at home and abroad with low latency. Currently, CMC Cloud is assisting 10 thousand clients with their digital transformation and is considered the most stable and high-performing domestic Cloud platform. The main explanation for that success is that CMC Cloud complies with strict standards, such as ISO and PCI-DSS combined with multi-layered security systems of major technology companies. According to CMC Telecom's roadmap, CMC Cloud is continuing to be equipped with new and strong AI-integrated services. Mr. Dang Tung Son - Deputy CEO/CMO of CMC Telecom said that being recognized as an excellent digital economy product at Make in Vietnam 2023 Awards positively motivates CMC to grow further in the coming time. Meanwhile, C-Notary is a pioneering solution that is being used by over 1,500 notarial organizations in Vietnam to simplify notarization operations and minimize risks. Specifically, comparing to traditional notarial activities, C-Notary helps notarial organizations save up to 90% of operating time and costs, shorten processes from 48 hours to only 1 minute, and ensure detection and elimination of legal risks such as fraud and falsified documents. Currently, CMC TS is the only company to provide solution for electronic notarization, which is compatible with the signing of documents by involved parties using personal digital certificate and citizen ID information. RPA services are mainly used by enterprises and clients working in the fields of Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Telecommunications, etc. Based on robotic software or artificial intelligence, RPA is a collection of technologies to build software for daily tasks of human. With this, CMC Global promises to offer a series of solutions for businesses and organizations to improve their efficiency and automate office tasks; increase productivity, optimize costs and save time; as well as enhance scalability for enterprises in Vietnam and overseas.

From early morning, CMC exhibition booth has welcomed many delegations, experts and business representatives. In particular, arriving at CMC booth, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and his delegation paid attention to and highly appreciated Made by CMC products and solutions in helping the Government and enterprises with automation throughout their operation and development process.

This year, there are also 5 discussions at VFTE to provide a panorama of how technology applications help with increasing the efficiency of economic, cultural and educational activities. According to Mr. Dang Minh Tuan, AI is a superior technology that is accounted for spectacular strides of many businesses around the globe. The advent of AI-integrated virtual assistant allows effective management, retrieval and security of data, thereby supporting many critical operations of the Government and enterprises.
