Top 10 Vietnamese IT companies (formerly the 50+10 leading IT companies in Vietnam) is a program initiated by Vietnam Software and IT Services Association - VINASA. This annual activity has been held since 2014, and so far the award has been reduced to TOP 10. Therefore, 194 nominees this year must pass the rigorous assessment of a council of more than 30 experts in technology and finance as well as leading specialized reporters in Vietnam, such as Dr. Mai Liem Truc - Former Deputy Minister of Post and Telecommunication; Assoc. Prof. Truong Gia Binh, PhD – President of VINASA, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen – Deputy Director Geneal of Information Technology Department - Ministry of Information and Communications, etc.

The assessment follows 7 criteria including: financial indicators, human resources, technology capacity, management, achievement, and a specific evaluation criterion by industry. The contestants undergo 3 rounds: preliminary assessment of applications; presentation and practical appraisal, and final voting.
