On 16 June 2022, Uptime Institute officially announced on its website that Tan Thuan Data Center possesses the two most advanced certifications of modernity and security for data centers. With these certifications (TCCF & TCDD), Tan Thuan Data Center is the first DC in Vietnam to officially own the full set of Uptime's Tier III certifications. It is also the first DC in Vietnam to pass the most tests for certification (115 tests) and qualified for being tested for Uptime Tier IV certification. This further affirms that CMC Telecom is able to deploy modern and secure data centers.

With practical tests and the announcement of Uptime Institute, CMC Telecom's Tan Thuan Data Center is having huge potential to become the first DC in Vietnam that is ready for Tier IV standard.

Tan Thuan Data Center: Modern and Secure

Located within CMC Creative Space complex of CMC Corporation in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Thuan Data Center divides its floor area as follows: 5,000 m² for general use, 3,110 m2 for IT equipment (white space) with 1,200 racks,  1,603 m2 for electrical systems, batteries and 287 m2 for UPS systems. In addition, the floor load of each floor is up to 1,500 kg/m2, making Tan Thuan Data Center an international standard DC.

The racks at Tan Thuan DC has design capacity of 5 to 20 kW/rack. With 1,200 racks at the DC, the total capacity is 12000kW, ensuring the highest level of safety and security for IT equipment and electrical system at the DC.

Also, Tan Thuan DC is the first DC in Vietnam to possess TVRA (Threat, Vulnerability And Risk Assessment) certification, further ensuring its ability to meet the current highest standards of safety and security for data centers in the world. At the same time, CMC Telecom is the first company in Vietnam to possess PCI DSS - the particular security certification for card transactions in banking and finance sector. With the technology it owns and standards met, Tan Thuan DC is asserting itself as an international Data Center among the general data centers in Vietnam.
