Starting the working session, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, Acting General Director of CMC Corporation expressed his thanks for the keen attention and support of Cau Giay District's Party Committee for CMC over the years. At the same time, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung also introduced 3 main business areas of the Corporation, its business performance as well as achievements earned by the Corporations in its 27 years of building and development. Thereby, Mr. Tung also presented the development goals, directions and strategy of CMC Corporation in the next 5 years.

Mr. Tung emphasized: "CMC aims to become a global digital corporation and we are implementing many plans and activities to realize that goal. It's worth mentioning the project of Creative Space, which has been deployed in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hanoi, contributing to making Vietnam the Digital Hub of the Asia Pacific region ". Currently, Cau Giay IT Zone is considered "Silicon Valley" of Hanoi and is also one of the highlights of Cau Giay District with about 500 IT-telecommunications companies operating in Duy Tan neighborhood.  CMC is willing to contribute to efforts to promote the image of "Silicon Valley" of Cau Giay District, in order for it to become the pride of Vietnam to international friends. More specifically, CMC wishes to join the city in building the "Silicon Valley" of Cau Giay District into a model of smart, green, clean and beautiful city with high technology.

The delegation of Cau Giay District's Party Committee also visited Data Center, NextGen SOC and CMC Institute of Science and Technology (CIST).

At the end of the working session, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee highly appreciated and acknowledged the positive suggestions and contributions of CMC Corporation in the ICT field, which critically contribute to the socioeconomic development of the entire country.
