After more than a month of construction, the field hospital for resuscitation and treatment of severe and critical Covid-19 patients has been completed and put into operation. The hospital is built in a record time thanks to the investment of social resources. Along with large enterprises like Techcombank, Sun Group, Delta, Daikin and Viettel, CMC Corporation also contributed to the construction of the hospital.
The hospital is built according to ICU treatment standards with separate areas for nutrition, testing and treatment to ensure asepsis, control of infection, and avoidance of cross-infection. The hospital will admit and provide urgent intervention and treatment to severe and critical Covid-19 patients transferred by medical facilities, ensuring timely, safe and effective interventions as well as compliance with Ministry of Health’s instructions on expertise.
Representative of CMC - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luu - Head of Marketing and Communication Department visits the hospital.
Doctors do not call this a field hospital because it is not built for temporary use. According to the new approach to treating Covid-19 patients, it is time to see Covid-19 as a normal disease that can be treated like others. Patients, doctors and the community can adapt to and live together with the pandemic.
Therefore, the hospital needs a new approach to treatment. In addition to modern and adequate equipment, the treatment area is also safe and green. The air conditioning system, the space with lots of light, the disinfection area, trees and the environment, all are designed to ensure safety for everyone. Especially, on the back of doctors' blouses are the words "Covid-19 cannot win against us", which further show the determination, consensus and teamwork of the doctors and nurses here in the battle to defeat Covid-19.
Earlier in 2021, CMC Corporation also presented to Hanoi Medical University Hospital 3 HNFC systems with worth of 1 billion VND. In the context of complicated pandemic developments, which affect people's lives nationwide and put pressure on the health sector, CMC Corporation and its officers and employees have been donating money, ventilators and equipment for pandemic prevention with total value of over 22 billion VND to Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Most recently, CMC donated 3,600 tablet computers of 2.5 million VND each to disadvantaged students to help them with their online study. This activity is the response to the "Connection and Computers for Students" program initiated by the Prime Minister.
