CMC introduces cloud computing application to 100 e-Government experts
CMC Telecom is the company selected to accompany the Government in the program for training of nuclear experts in e-Government. This is a program launched by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and hosted by Ministry of Information and Communications, with the aim of training IT officers to become the core, nuclear experts in deploying e-Government at ministries, sectors and localities.
Representative of CMC Telecom - Mr. Le Anh Vu, Director of Cloud Computing Technology - directly participated in the expert training with the topic of: "Ensuring infrastructure security for e-government platform applying cloud computing technology".
Accordingly, Mr. Vu emphasized: "Cloud infrastructure is the most important part of digital infrastructure, which plays a crucial role in successful digital transformation and construction of digital government. In addition to the concept of cloud computing and cloud applications for e-Government, the application of technical criteria for cloud platform recently promulgated by Ministry of Information and Communications is also very important."

The criteria aim to encourage technology firms in the country to master the technology and develop Vietnamese cloud computing platform. This is a key direction to develop cloud platform for e-Government and electronic administration at all levels towards digital government, digital economy and digital society. Through this program, CMC Telecom is committed to making every effort to accompany e-Government in the digital transformation.
Experts are able to directly visit cloud computing data center of CMC Telecom. Currently, CMC Telecom owns the first 3 Tier III neutral data centers in Vietnam that earned PCI DSS certification, which are located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The training course lasts for two days. 100 learners are chiefs and vice chiefs of IT offices, or directors of ITC centers of IT specialized institutions under ministries, as well as departments of information and communications of 63 provinces and cities across the country. The program will provide consistent, regular and continuous knowledge and insights of IT, digital transformation, etc. in years.
At the launch ceremony of the program on 28 December 2019, the Prime Minister clarified its purpose: "100 experts participating in the training will create a network of e-government experts from the central to the local level, which is equivalent to the amount of knowledge from 10,000 IT experts." This is the biggest benefit that the training program offers.
