Coming to the exhibition space at Vietnam Information Security Day 2020 with the theme of: "Make in Vietnam cyber security - The key factor in national digital transformation", CMC Corporation left its mark with the CMC Security Ecosystem booth and the message of "Securing your Digital Transformation" to help protect IT systems of organizations and agencies (network's edge, LAN, terminals, data, applications and management policies) against cyber attacks by "Make in Vietnam" products and services. At the seminar of "Cyber security in digital transformation", Mr. Luong Tuan Thanh - Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of CMC Corporation presented a report on "Building safe monitoring and smart cyber security platforms for the digital ecosystem".

Mr. Thanh stated CMC Corporation's commitment to building Vietnamese cyber security ecosystems: From 2 December 2020, CMC Corporation will offer a 1-year copyright for using the antivirus software CMC Internet Security to small-sized enterprises and organizations. For enterprises and organizations with their own IT systems, CMC advises registration to use the monitoring and defense solution CMDD. CMC is willing to support organizations and enterprises to experience CMDD service package in 6 months, free of charge. In addition, CMC looks forward to expanding cooperation with cyber security companies to share knowledge of potential incidents and risks, both domestically and internationally.

"Make in Vietnam" Cloud Platform

Also at the seminar, CMC Cloud of CMC Corporation was honored as one of the five "Make in Vietnam" cloud platforms that meet technical criteria to serve e-government.

The cloud platform provided by CMC Corporation meets the set of 153 criteria in document No. 1145/BTTTT-CATTT towards building e-Government. CMC Cloud platform has unlimited expansion capacity and is currently storing up to 1.5 PB of client's data.

At the seminar of "Vietnamese safe cloud platforms for digital transformation", Mr. Dang Tung Son - Deputy General Director of CMC Telecom talked about three difficulties that the company as well as other cloud computing service providers are facing. They are: strict requirements for information security; the problem of localization to meet requirements of quality of products and services, customer experience and especially information security; and the problem of human resources.

Participating in the seminar of "Digital transformation in the socio-economic sphere and cyber security", Mr. Ha The Phuong - Deputy General Director of CMC Cyber Security discussed security challenges in the digital transformation of Vietnamese organizations, government agencies and enterprises.

The discussion revolved around how to ensure data security when enterprises proceed to digital transformation, risk management measures, and quality management of outsourcing service providers. Notably, the participants agreed that: "Ensuring security is a continuous, periodic and never-ending process. We must always make the right, reasonable and continuous investments to solve the cyber security problem."
