CMC donates 2,000 tablets with mobiEdu learning solution to disadvantaged students
Accordingly, on 30 December 2021, Hanoi Department of Education and Training organized a ceremony for the 6th donation to "Connection and Computers for Students" program to support students in school year 2021-2022. At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hai - Senior Vice President of CMC Corporation presented this meaningful gift to Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Education & Training. Also on this occasion, CMC representatives in collaboration with MobiFone Telecommunication Corporation presented 2,000 sets of CMC computer with mobiEdu learning solutions and mobiCloud storage solutions integrated.

After the ceremony, Hanoi Department of Education and Training will hand over the 2,000 tablets to disadvantaged students who do not have online learning equipment in 15 districts, 51 high schools, 2 specialized schools and 13 Centers for Vocational and Continuing Education in the city.

Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Mr. Tran The Cuong expressed his thanks to CMC Corporation for donating 2,000 new tablets and 2,000 learning software to disadvantaged students in the stressful pandemic situation. As a parent whose child receives a tablet from CMC, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh in Nguyen Khuyen, Hanoi said, due to her family’s circumstances, she had to ask for an old mobile phone for both of her children to learn online. "For more than a year now, my two children, one in Grade 10 and one in Grade 5, have to take turns to use the phone for their study, which is very inconvenient if they have to take the semester exam or have class at the same time. With the tablet from CMC, my children will have better learning conditions. This is the biggest New Year's gift we have ever received," she said.

On behalf of the disadvantaged students who are provided with learning equipment, Hoang Nhat Anh, student of Class 10D1 of Dong Da High School, Hanoi said, his family situation is difficult because his father has severe kidney failure and his mother does not have a stable job. Despite that, Nhat Anh's parents always hope that he can study well to achieve his dream. "I feel lucky to receive the gift from CMC. This gift is not only a material support but also a means that teaches me lessons of love and care. The gift will be a springboard for me to study well in the pandemic and continue to fulfill my dreams in the future," said Nhat Anh.

In November 2021, CMC participated in the 5th session of "Connection and Computers for Students" for the school year 2021-2022 and donated 400 CMS computers – Made by CMC brand, worth VND 4 billion to disadvantaged students in 10 suburban districts of Hanoi.
