Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao, new Executive Vice President of CMC Corporation

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh - Chairman of BOD/Executive President of the Corporation; Mr. Ho Thanh Tung - CEO of the Corporation; Mr. Le Thanh Son - Senior Vice President/CFO of the Corporation; as well as representatives of Board of Management and leaders of member companies and professional departments of the Corporation.

At the ceremony, President Nguyen Trung Chinh officially awarded Decision No. 18/2023-QĐHĐQT dated 16 May 2023 to appoint Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao - CEO of CMC Global to the position of Executive Vice President of CMC Corporation. The decision takes effect from the date of issue.

"I now officially give our new Vice President a major responsibility: To take our Corporation to the world and conquer the global market." - said Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh at the ceremony.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao was born in 1983 and graduated from Tsinghua University (China) with a Master of Science in Engineering degree. He joined CMC Corporation in 2017 as Deputy CEO in charge of production at CMC Global.

In August 2020, Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao held the position of Acting CEO of CMC Global. From June 2021 to date, he has been the CEO of CMC Global.

During his time at CMC Global, Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao has led the company to many great achievements, such as: Being ranked in the TOP 2 ITO companies in Vietnam; being the Role Model of CMC Corporation in three consecutive years with average growth rate in 2017-2022 period doubling the annual rate; taking the business to many countries around the world such as Japan, Singapore, South Korea, etc. CMC Global also has a "dizzying" growth rate in terms of personnel: by the end of 2022, the company had 3000 employees - 60 times higher comparing to just 50 employees in 2017.

Especially, at the 30^th Anniversary of CMC Corporation held at the Hanoi Opera House recently, Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao received a certificate of merit from Minister of Information and Communications for "individual with outstanding achievements contributing to the construction and development of the Information and Communications industry of Vietnam".

With the new goals and new duties, new challenges are posed to Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao. However, he affirmed that he would bring the spirit of CMC Global to his new position, which is: "Not afraid of and willing to try new things, in order to fulfill the responsibility entrusted by the President and the Board of Directors."
