Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd. shakes hands with CMC TS for digital transformation
The automated warehouse project is expected to become the premise for deploying digital transformation projects, especially ERP, in the future.
On 11 March 2022, Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd. and CMC Technology & Solution Co., Ltd. (CMC TS) has started the project to build automated warehouse on the basis of SAP B1 platform to support the automation of warehouse operation and management.
Difficulties in manual warehouse management
Luong Quoi Coconut Co., Ltd. (LQC) is one of the largest coconut production, processing, trading and export companies in Vietnam, and is well-known by its brand, Vietcoco. The company has 8 warehouses and distribution centers with a total area of 26,000m2. Although goods constantly go in and out of these premises, all warehouse management and data input operations are manually performed using Excel and hard copies of documents.
Without a general management system, data from warehouses are inconsistent and incoherent, thus lead to mistakes and errors due to the difficulties in verifying information. Warehouse operators and leaders of the company cannot control inventory in real time or manage locations of goods, causing a waste of resources and time to get the right goods at the right place. Therefore, LQC needs a solution that meets the need for management and instantly provides reliable warehouse data for production and trading.
CMC TS is trusted and selected by LQC as the consultant for its digital transformation implementation roadmap.
Automated warehouse solution from CMC TS: Closely integrating all warehouse operations and management processes
After surveying business procedures and size of LQC and based on experience from the deployment of solution for customers with similar business size, CMC TS advises LQC to use the automated warehouse solution C-WMS (CMC Warehouse Management) developed by CMC TS for LQC's 8 warehouses.
C-WMS closely and coherently integrates all warehouse operation and goods management processes, including the input and output of materials for production, input of finished goods, inventory check, packaging and delivery.
C-WMS solution digitalizes warehouse operations as well as the purchase and sale of goods. Warehouse operations are tracked, making it easy for the business to trace when errors occur to improve working processes and methods and minimize errors.
Thanks to C-WMS, operation, input-output and inventory data are all stored directly in a unified warehouse management system. Data is generated everywhere at anytime instead of just being entered to computers as before, which reduces the time spent for manual data entry. As a result, the business can save its operating costs by minimizing the use of paper.
C-WMS solution is fully compatible and easy to integrate with ERP system to answer and respond to operations in the system, promote the performance of Sale, Purchasing and Production, thus help the business accurately estimates raw material needs, production time and delivery time.
